2019 Central Region Midget AAA Championship recap

The #Road2Telus has officially kicked off in Bowmanville with the top teams wrapping up a successful day one of the Central Region Midget AAA Championship.

Toronto Young Nationals 1-, North Bay Trappers 1

·         Joshua Sinanan (TYN) and Jesse Kirby (NBT) scoring for their respective teams.

Pembroke Lumber Kings 5, Kingston Jr. Frontenacs 4

·         Mason McTavish led the PLK with 4 pts (3g,1a), while Juston Biraben and Dylan Lariviere each had 2 pts a piece for the KJF.

Elgin Middlesex Chiefs 4, Clarington Toros 2

·         Connor Olson had 2 for EMC, while it was a full team effort seeing William Everson, Zachary Smith, Connor Davies, and Benjamin Lukinuk all contributing for CT.

The winner of the Central Region Midget AAA Championship will move on to represent the Central Region at the 2019 TELUS Cup, the Canada’s National Midget Championship, happening on April 22-29, 2019 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
