AAA Championships

Teams are set to compete in the Central Region Midget AAA Championship

And with the Pembroke Lumber Kings’ win over the Rockland Nationals, the stage is officially set for the 2019 Central Region Midget AAA Championship happening at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex in Bowmanville from April 1-7, 2019.

In addition to the Pembroke Lumber Kings (Hockey Eastern Ontario), the North Bay Trappers (NOHA), Toronto Young Nationals (GTHL), Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs (ALLIANCE), Kingston Jr. Frontenacs (OMHA) and the Clarington Toros (Host) will all be vying for their chance to travel further down the Road to TELUS.

The winner of the Central Region Midget AAA Championship will move on to represent the Central Region at the 2019 TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship, happening on April 22-29, 2019 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Preliminary play kicks off with the Toronto Young Nationals and North Bay Trappers at 12 p.m. on Mon, Apr. 1. A full schedule for the event can be found on the OHF Championship website.
