Erie North Shore is the host of this year’s OHF Juvenile Championship. The tournament will be held at the Kingsville Arena, in Kingsville, ON from March 27-29, 2020.
This Erie North Shore Juvenile team has not been together long, with only six returning players from the year prior. However, they have meshed quickly and are off to a great start this far with a 17-7-3 record for the regular season, good enough for first in their league. In addition to their strong league play, they have performed well in tournament play as well – finishing second in the Greg Dietz Memorial Tournament this year. They hope to continue their success this year at the OHF Juvenile Championship.
Erie North Shore is extremely excited to be hosting this year’s OHF Juvenile Championship after participating in it last year. Here are a few interesting facts about the community of Kingsville:
- This will be the second time the community has hosted an OHF Championship
- Kingsville is home to the Canadian Transportation and Heritage Village, but if you’re interested in spending some time outside the community is home to Lakeside Park, Cedar Creek Conservation Area and the Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary.
- Birthplace of NHLer Dalton Prout.
