The Hamilton Atom AA Huskies are this year’s hosts of the OHF Atom AA Championship. The tournament will be held at the Chedoke Twin Pad Arena in Hamilton, ON from April 10th – 12th, 2020.
A close-knit group, the majority of the Hamilton Huskies have played together for the past four years. United by a passion for hockey the team propelled themselves to an Alliance A Championship, as well as a semi-final appearance in the Buffalo AA Cup where they defeated two AAA teams from the United States.
The Hamilton Huskies Atom AA are proud to be selected as this year’s host for the Atom AA OHF Championship and look forward to welcoming you to Hamilton. Here are a few interesting facts about the city of Hamilton:
- The first Tim Hortons was opened here in 1964
- The Ontario Hockey Leagues (OHL) Hamilton Bulldogs were the 2017-2018 OHL Champions, defeating the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds to capture the title.
- Hamilton is alternatively known as the “City of Waterfalls” as there are many different waterfalls throughout the city. Some of the more notable include; Devils Punch Bowl, Tiffany Falls and the Albion Falls.
