The Milton Atom A Winterhawks are this year’s hosts of the OHF Atom A Championship. The tournament will be held at the Milton Sports Centre in Milton, ON from April 10th- 12th, 2020.

The Milton Winterhawks, coached by Adam Stevens, are excited for the opportunity to compete for the title of OHF Atom A Champion. In addition to being host, the Winterhawks currently sit atop their division. Guided by coach Stevens, the Winterhawks won their first two tournaments of the year, as well as working their way to an appearance in the finals of the Early Bird Tournament.

The Winterhawks and their hosting committee are excited to represent the city of Milton and the rest of the OMHA in this year’s Atom A OHF Championship. Here are some interesting facts about the community of Milton:

• One of the fastest growing cities in North America, with a population that has doubled in size since 2014
• Milton is home to several stunning golf courses (Piper’s Heath, Rattlesnake Point and Granite Ridge) with views of the Niagara escarpment
• Hockey legends John Tonelli and Darren Haydar both call Milton their hometown
