Nickel City’s PeeWee AA Jr. Sons are this year’s hosts of the OHF PeeWee AA Championship. The tournament will be held at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury, ON from April 10th-12th, 2020.
The Nickel City Jr. Sons have grown to become a family, supporting and encouraging each other through their mutual love for the sport of hockey. Over the last year, the team has worked hard in practice with an emphasis on skills such as passing the puck, puck possession and defending the front of the net. They have welcomed many new players to their team and consider them family. The team puts a special importance on learning respect, leadership and commitment both on and off the ice.
The Jr. Sons and the rest of the Sudbury community are looking forward to showcasing their great city as the host of the upcoming OHF PeeWee AA Championship. Here are a few interesting facts about the city of Sudbury:
