This April, Sault Major Hockey Association and the U15 AAA Soo Junior Greyhounds team will play host to an elite hockey event, the Ontario Hockey Federation’s All Ontario U15 AAA Provincial Championship. This event will have the best seven U15 AAA hockey teams across the Ontario playing for the coveted title here in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
OHF Manager, Program & Events, Scott Stevens said: “The Sault Ste. Marie U15 AAA All- Ontario Championship host committee have worked extremely hard to make sure this will be a memorable Championship for all involved. This Championship will provide an opportunity for participating athletes to showcase their perseverance, teamwork, technical skills, and emotional strength, celebrating the culmination of their hard work, commitment and learning of many weeks and months of training prior to this Championship. The OHF wishes everyone success, but also emphasize that sportsmanship, friendships, and the cultural experiences are what make these Championships so very special. The U15 AAA All Ontario Championship, slated for April 12 – 16, 2023 will see the best hockey players from across the province compete at the new arena located at the Northern Community Centre. The teams competing will be representatives of the following provincial branches: Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO), Hockey Northwestern Ontario (HNO), the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), Alliance Hockey (ALLIANCE), the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) and the Host (Soo Junior Greyhounds).

This tournament serves to crown the best team from across the province at the U15 AAA level.
