Toronto Young Nationals to host the 2020 Central Region Midget AAA Championship

The 2020 Central Region Midget AAA Championship is being hosted by the reigning champions, the Toronto Young Nationals of the GTHL. The Nationals, under the guidance of head coach Brett Punchard have made steady progress over the past 5 years emerging as one of the top teams not only in the GTHL, and OHF, but in Canada. Just last season the Nationals won the Central Region Midget AAA Championship, and went on to win the Telus Cup Midget AAA Championship in Thunder Bay.

Over the past 6 years, the Young Nationals have appeared in the Telus Cup 4 times. After winning gold in 2019, they hope to repeat their title at this year’s Championship tournament.
